First of all, Happy 100th post!
A lot has happened since i started this blog. Anyway, lets travel back to 2005. Fresh out of highschool. Then went to college.
I was First year art student. Full of anticipation and dreams. Everyday was fun, i dont have to carry calculator to school anymore. Made new friends and swim into the internet world. Own my first lap top and taking bus to school. Here are works from dear first year.


The very first assignment i brought home. Draw wire outlines of 40 different angles of an apple.

These are from fine art class. They put items on a table and we sat infront of the table and draw the objects. Missed those dirty hands day.

a very wrong way to start a new year. anyway... my family were here last week. went out and had a blast. now i super miss home. might be going back this Chinese New Year, then i can claim Jie's ang pao as well.

One of my new year resolutions is to update this blog at least once a week before it turns into a grave site like my flickr and deviantart. Since this is new year, i'm going to add in a new feature. If you are with me long enough you'll notice that i'm allergic to umbrella. I hate to carry one unless i'm forced to. I hate rain. The smell, the sound and the feeling it creates. Because i hate rain i hate umbrella too. (hate by association)

I made dinner today with some left over. *note to self: 1)tom yam paste and soy sauce made a lethal combination. 2)frying the rice too long will turn the rice to pebbles.

I ve been slacking a LOT during the holiday. So much that i overdose. I got sleepy easily these days. Must be the new year bug. Nah... thats probably because i hardly drink coffee now. Anyway, for some not-so-funny reason, i did a lot of calendar this year. Starting from Business Presentation Class, Promotional Design class, Collateral Design class and one not school related calendar. There are certain rules that you ve to follow in the process. Like the font size, colors and practicality. Therefore, since this is for personal purposes, here i present you how a calendar would look like "my way"..... bye bye restrictions.

But i like the different colors to substitute the word "Monday, Tuesday...etc" It gets depressing because it remains you on how fast time goes by. "Ack!!! its Friday already?!!" nah.. so if its in color it is less depressing. It'll go like this, "Ack!! its Purple already?" sounds crazy i know. But again, it is personal.


p/s so how many of you out there check the dates from your mobile phone? cuz i do that too.

Sorry for the lack of updates. My internet is slower than an aging snail. Been very busy the past few weeks. Something happened and I'm still dealing with the aftermath.

Heroes creeps me out. It seems that everyone i met had watch the series. Try it yourself. ask your classmates, college or neighbors. I bet 8 out of 10 people are watching. and at least 5 are addicted. including Jie and Jen. Heres something for Jie.

i know i shouldn't sit down and blog. I should start digging the store room for my old artwork for compilation and brainstorm ideas for Monday. but the words, "kancil" , "collateral" and "identity" gave me goosebumps and stomach cramp. i need to do something outside school work before i emotionally and physically combust. the above is Grace Kelly from Rear Window. kinda simply done. blessed live trace.

don't call me pervert. i do agree with the main character. i like this movie. nominated for oscar. its about a group of people who work in a supermarket and how each of them had their own way to deal with the 8 hours late night shift. this one is the original short. 18 minutes. warning: female nudity here.
