its officially term break. but still ve classes. CI and photography. received an e-mail. CI postpone to 5th of Sept. banged head on table. partly happy partly angry. wat d hell??? habis sudah saya punya term break. grrr... class'll start on 10th.

went to saloon the other day. asked for a new hairstyle. all i asked is short and stylish. went back home with an "aunty-hairdo". i'm wearing cap to school.

This movie is heartbreaking. I hate the ending! but the unexpected ending is what makes this movie interesting.
Its just 4 minutes but managed to tell a lot and conveyed the message precisely. The performance from the actress is impressive. Bittersweet story about finding love.

Sometimes my desk is very cluttered, full of unimportant stuffs that looks important. A cup of half empty coffee from 3 days ago, pack of ketchup,crumpled papers and unidentified objects. Because its so unorganized, things go missing easily.

Its been crazy buzy downright scary week. Everything is spiraling out of control and i still manage to sit here and type this calmly.

Updates:
1) According to mum, baby hamsters are doing well! yatta!
2) I watched "Dead Silence" already! COOL!! the twist, the plot n d cast r awesome!
expected from The Saw trilogy director James Wan. (he is still very very young)
have to coax Jen to watch the movie or end up watching Surf Up. Thanks buddy!
3) Rina went back to Indo liao. Theres a lot of things that we promised to do when term break comes. I guess all the plans 'll ve to go down the drain.

Anyhoo, last Monday, while my group mates n i were having discussion in McDonald, we sat beside the playpen. Then, suddenly appear this super very exaggeratedly astonishingly The CUTEST kid i had ever seen!!!! The critter is damn adorable!!!!
she is like barely three years old. --->You know I'm a sucker for anything cute especially a breathing one, so i helped her up to Ronald McDonald's lap.

Note to parents all over the world, it is VERY dangerous to leave your children alone even in mc donalds playpen while you are ordering food. What happened if i'm a bad guy eh~~. So much for don't talk to strangers. The kid is actually getting cozy and comfortable with us. She is not aware of what i had in mind. I swear the kid is SUPER CUTE and innocent. arf arf... now i had made myself sounds like child molester, or worst a pedophile. then the dad came and, ALAS!!!! he is HANDSOME!!! oui~~~~~~

Beng Chong gave me these postcards. THANKS A LOT!!!! i really like them. really really like. Reminds me of the movie, the one with Chow Yun Fat wan, "SHANG HAI TAN" 上海滩. I like the vintage, classy n oldies style, those 1930s wan. When they had to hand-paint i mean hand drawn the advertisement themselves. salute!



Ahem, you know that i LOVE to watch short movies. So much to tell in a short period of time n less drama n time saving. So now every month ill post a short movie form youtube or dailymotion. Trust me, watch it. Worth every minute.

The title is called "Inside Out" (1999) It is a silent movie, no dialogs but the music is very nice. Its a story about chances you'll make a connection with strangers. Its a funny heart warming movie. Starring Lena Heady. This is before she made it big in Hollywood, before The Cave , The Brothers Grimm and 300. Oui~~~ her smiles are blinding.

Lastly, I ve been thinking a lot... maybe i missed my true calling, maybe i'm supposed to be in digital animation, illustration or multimedia and not advertising. Its like going to church wont' turn you into Christian and doing advertising and graphic design wont turn me into a designer. Maybe i ve no talents???? i swear its not for lack of trying. I'm very serious in what i'm doing. Three years are going to end very soon. And i still yearn for more. Its scary to think about the future. =.=''

occasional ramblings

AAAArrrrrrrr.... enough enough enough already!!!! its like a mad race. I feel like splitting the subjects and get my WEEKEND BACK!!!! when they said 3rd year means hell, it really is. There is always something to worry about everyday. Rejected works, shitty ideas and unfinished works. I'm tired to deal and working with people anymore. It seems like no point and I wonder how some guys and had no sense of gallantry. I had enough. Sometimes I tried to be uncooperative and difficult but failing miserably. Pathetic, i know.
I have no time to do what i like now. The "Lost" season3 Jen lent i haven't even touch it yet. =(
But still i'm happy and content with life now. If compared with wad cousin Put is facing. I guess i'm in much better state.
Put, GANBATE! jom sama sama berjuang! you melawan preman i melawan assignment!

Anyhoo, some good things that happened this month,

1) My hamsters have kids!!!! name them hamster A-jr, B-jr, C-jr, D-jr and E-jr. The first three baby hamsters didn't make it because mama hamster ve no experience and didn't know how to take care of her babbies. I'm glad when mum called and said that the five baby hamsters are doing great.

mum: "they are tiny, red, bald and ugly" (AAAAAaaaaawwwww!!!!!!)

2) Catch up with Dewi n Jen. Finally can relax even though feeling wee guilty for skipping class. Dewi might come to KL and study! awesomeness! now we can all go shopping!!!

3) Suah n Julian came back for holiday. Its great to see them again. They didn't change a bit! Physically changed but they are still... well Jullian n Suah (jolly good fellas! i'm really glad to see you guys again!)

4) My prayers are answered!! Finally, a BIGGER library at school, and now i can feast upon all the ARCHIVE, Idn n other art magazines which i had to sacrifice my lunch or dinner to afford. Thank GOD!!!!

5) Mum bought me a rice cooker. I guess its time to learn proper cooking.

After months of searching and searching, finally some kind soul uploaded "West Bank Story"!!!! =D
Go and watch it!!!! its the BEST short movie i had ever watch so far.
It is a musical romantic comedy about a muslim fast food cashier girl with an Israeli Jew soldier. Unfortunately, their families are rival fast food joints built side by side. Their competition is darn funny! and theres also a lot of singing and dancing. Listen carefully and you will realize that they are singing in English and the lyrics are super hilarious.Its only 20 minutes but highly entertaining! WATCH IT!!!! The movie won OSCAR 2007 for "best short film"

sluggishly happy…

Been very lazy lately… still in the "holiday mode"

Anyway, i think i'm slowly turning into a geriatric.
playing sudoku online for hours, watching Martha Stewart religiously every morning and making a habit of drinking tea every afternoon.

Being the only single in the unit is getting annoying. My eyes are bombard with PDAs every waking hours. I should adopt a cat.

But the main reason why i haven't been productive is because i'm having an identity crisis. I'm still finding that "very DORA" kind of style. Every art piece i produced, i can't help but think that it looks like someone else' style. Not original. And its driving me insane. So thats how they went to trash.

About the lotus, nah. I'm not 1 metre high ya... the lotus in the garden was planted above ground level. Thats why it is taller than me. Btw, i don't know when this habit started but, i like to watch peoples' mouths.
Here's a few observations.

i like dad's plants. a lot. stood in front of the plant for around one hour. but worth it. blooming flower are fun to watch.
