welcoming 2008

I ve been slacking a LOT during the holiday. So much that i overdose. I got sleepy easily these days. Must be the new year bug. Nah... thats probably because i hardly drink coffee now. Anyway, for some not-so-funny reason, i did a lot of calendar this year. Starting from Business Presentation Class, Promotional Design class, Collateral Design class and one not school related calendar. There are certain rules that you ve to follow in the process. Like the font size, colors and practicality. Therefore, since this is for personal purposes, here i present you how a calendar would look like "my way"..... bye bye restrictions.

But i like the different colors to substitute the word "Monday, Tuesday...etc" It gets depressing because it remains you on how fast time goes by. "Ack!!! its Friday already?!!" nah.. so if its in color it is less depressing. It'll go like this, "Ack!! its Purple already?" sounds crazy i know. But again, it is personal.


p/s so how many of you out there check the dates from your mobile phone? cuz i do that too.

Ve to say it is much more easier to draw with tablet than drawing with mouse. First drawing with tablet. i'm kinda pleased with the result. *beams

Sorry for the lack of updates. My internet is slower than an aging snail. Been very busy the past few weeks. Something happened and I'm still dealing with the aftermath.

Heroes creeps me out. It seems that everyone i met had watch the series. Try it yourself. ask your classmates, college or neighbors. I bet 8 out of 10 people are watching. and at least 5 are addicted. including Jie and Jen. Heres something for Jie.

i know i shouldn't sit down and blog. I should start digging the store room for my old artwork for compilation and brainstorm ideas for Monday. but the words, "kancil" , "collateral" and "identity" gave me goosebumps and stomach cramp. i need to do something outside school work before i emotionally and physically combust. the above is Grace Kelly from Rear Window. kinda simply done. blessed live trace.

don't call me pervert. i do agree with the main character. i like this movie. nominated for oscar. its about a group of people who work in a supermarket and how each of them had their own way to deal with the 8 hours late night shift. this one is the original short. 18 minutes. warning: female nudity here.

This movie is heartbreaking. I hate the ending! but the unexpected ending is what makes this movie interesting.
Its just 4 minutes but managed to tell a lot and conveyed the message precisely. The performance from the actress is impressive. Bittersweet story about finding love.
