[Rec]2

I did a review of the first film back in 2008. [Rec]2 is the sequel, it basically continues 15 mins after the end of the first film. its very satisfying because it explains the who, when, where, why, and how questions from the first film. the premise of the film is very simple. a weird virus spread inside an apartment building. so the government quarantine the whole building. the trapped occupants and reporter from first film are still inside along with children who are not supposed to act in horror movies. i mean.. its about them fighting for their lives. the second movie is about rescuing and finding antidote. of course with a lot of complications and dramas along the way.

what makes this movie stands out from the rest is the cause of the outbreak. not bio hazard chemical contamination, not radiation from outer space, not rage virus from monkeys, not vampires and zombies and not bites from bats or rats. it brings back pure classic horror with added twist. this movie is pure adrenalin rush from beginning until the end.

lastly, best philosophy in life. when life gethca down you know what you gotta do?
just keep swimming, keep swimming, just keep swimming~
